is a much better than Nintendo as a place for your child to spend
their computer time. (Of course we want you to spend time with
your child playing too!)
It's educational! FCATworld mirrors the requirements
of the FCAT, the main test that Florida children must take to progress
to the next year in school.
It's inexpensive! FCATworld is only
$10 for the entire
summer
for one child and we offer discounts for families with multiple
children. Click here to

It's guaranteed! FCATworld
will help your child in school, guaranteed or your money back!
We are so certain that the games, lessons, tests, and helpful school
hints found at FCAT world will help your child in school that
we will cheerfully give you your money back if for any reason
you are dissatisfied.

How
to Best Use FCATworld:
FCATworld is organized around age
and grade specific activities. Every child is different. Please
encourage your child to not limit their play to just their grade
level. If they want to score well, let them go backwards, if they
want more challenge, have them go forward.
Free Games:
The Free Games are fun and educational. "No stress" is
the watchword for this area of FCATworld.
Test Taking:
The real value to your child's school progress is within
the Test Taking area that is available with your subscription.
Test Taking is a skill in and of itself. We spent extra time creating
a "Test Taking Hints" lesson
for you to teach your child how to take tests.
This
is what we do with our children:
1) Login with your child and take
a test with your child. Watch how your child approaches the answers.
Notice how they answer too quickly, or what they do when they don't
know an answer.
2) Then, go through the
Test Taking Hints lesson with your child. Discuss how to guess,
how to throw out answers, and how to make choices.
3) Then let your child take another
test, this time applying what you just went over.
Our children have found this an invaluable aid
to reducing stress around taking tests such
as the FCAT (and
worth at least one grade level too!). |
